WASHINGTON, D.C., September 11, 2020 - The Washington Business Journal (WBJ) recognized Yes& as one of the fastest growing companies in the Greater Washington area. The Alexandria-based marketing agency has made the list for its remarkable growth over the past three years.

This is the third year that WBJ’s Data Editor, Carolyn Proctor, has compiled a list of privately-held companies to be recognized for the annual awards program. To qualify, companies must be locally headquartered and independently owned. The companies considered were ranked based on their revenue growth between 2017 and 2019.

“We are extremely fortunate to work with extraordinary clients across the commercial, association, and government sectors,” commented Robert W. Sprague, President & CEO. “Both our new clients and those that have been with us for many years have powered this growth by welcoming our ideas, encouraging our creativity, and entrusting us with their brands.”

Yes&’s name evokes “possibility & positivity.” The company’s culture is rooted in the belief that when agencies and clients work together, the possibilities for creativity and innovation are limitless.

WBJ will announce complete results and rankings of the companies recognized  during its annual award ceremony. WBJ is sponsoring this year's event virtually via Zoom, with a post-event networking reception for all honorees, sponsors, and attendees.

The WBJ awards event will be held October 21, 2020 from 4:00pm –5:00pm EST. Register here for the ceremony and find out what makes these companies so successful.

Methodology

The companies being considered submitted their financial records for 2017, 2018, and 2019. WBJ analyzed the company’s annual revenue growth and contrasted the financial numbers between 2017 and 2019. To be eligible, each company's revenue had to grow for two consecutive years between 2017 and 2019, and total at least $2 million in 2017 and at least $10 million in 2019. Program sponsor judges helped fact check submissions by interviewing companies and reviewing their financial statements.
