We are pleased to announce that Carmel McDonagh has joined our organization as VP Marketing Services and General Manager of the ConnellyWorks brand. McDonagh brings with her more than 20 years of experience in strategic marketing and events services in the public sector IT and B2B marketplaces.

In this new role, McDonagh provides day-to-day oversight of the PR, marketing, executive events and association management teams, which will include growing capabilities across the full Yes& client base. She also is charged with expanding the public sector IT business by ensuring that our current and future clients can call upon a single agency for all of their strategic communications requirements. McDonagh joins Yes& from 1105 Media, where she spent the last 13 years in various roles across the company, most recently as Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing event marketing strategy, circulation management and client services for the Government business unit.

“Carmel is well-respected in our market for her creative approach and government expertise,” said Joanne Connelly, President of ConnellyWorks. “The addition of Carmel’s talents to an already outstanding team will accelerate our ability to deliver full, end-to-end strategic communications solutions to the larger market. I am confident her dynamic approach to marketing and events will pay dividends in terms of helping us further grow our capabilities and better serve our clients.”

“I am thrilled to join the ConnellyWorks and Yes& team,” said McDonagh. “By bringing the powerful capabilities of the Yes& agency to the ConnellyWorks client portfolio, we will create a comprehensive suite of expert services across creative, digital and events for IT organizations in the Mid-Atlantic and beyond. I also look forward to growing our client base, while empowering our employees to deliver innovative, impactful and dynamic PR, marketing, digital and event services.”

ConnellyWorks has relocated to the Yes& offices located at 1700 Diagonal Road, Suite 450 in Alexandria, Virginia. The move will help advance the ability to deliver combined capabilities, as well as share information and resources to provide a more complete client experience.
