Today, at ADMERICA 2018, the American Advertising Federation’s Annual National Conference, it was announced that Yes& SVP Digital Greg Kihlström will serve as the first Chair of the AAF’s National Technology Advisory Committee. It is the organization’s first national committee, bringing agencies, clients, and technology vendors together in a new forum to drive the industry forward.
This position by a representative of Yes& supports the agency’s belief that innovative and effective usage of marketing and technology are a critical part of creating successful campaigns and driving business results for brands. Participating in a national dialogue between marketing and technology thought leaders supports the Yes& philosophy of the power of collaboration.
The purpose and mission of AAF’s National Technology Advisory Committee is to review and establish best practices for technological capabilities and strategic direction in the advertising industry for AAF membership, affiliates, and partners, and to facilitate adoption of technology best practices within the advertising industry. The committee will gather information to determine technology issues faced by membership and develop recommendations, guidance, and resources to support them. Kihlström is joined on the committee by other industry leaders and Dave Golden, Assistant VP Technology of AAF, the AAF Staff Liaison.
ADMERICA is the American Advertising Federation’s national conference on advertising where the advertising and marketing industry comes together for education, inspiration, innovation, collaboration and celebration.
