Yes&, together with our partner Stratacomm, is pleased to have launched the new 2019 campaign "Voices of Safety" for our USDOT, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) client. 

CAMPAIGN MISSION

FMCSA's mission is to reduce the number of crashes and fatalities involving large trucks and buses on the roads. This PSA campaign aims to educate mainly passenger vehicle drivers - but also other road users like motorcyclists, bicyclists, pedestrians - about the unique safety challenges of operating around large trucks and buses:

  • Wide Turns
  • Long Stopping Distance
  • Large Blind Spots

2019 OUR ROADS, OUR SAFETY CAMPAIGN

This year's campaign creative focuses on hearing these safety messages straight from the driver behind the wheel - having recruited many "Voices of Safety" to speak from their perspective and expertise about how to operate safely around large trucks and buses. We captured video, photography and audio with three key "voices" to create a nationwide campaign with a media buy and executions that consist of:

  • TV and Radio PSAs
  • Social Media
  • Out-Of-Home
  • Campaign Website - Featuring longer interview videos and more information
