For the second year in a row, Yes& was honored to receive Corporate Philanthropy Awards from the Washington Business Journal in two small-business categories. Yes& ranked number eight for Giving and number four for Volunteer Hours.
At Yes&, we believe part of being good corporate citizens is being actively engaged in our community. We’ve supported the marketing and fundraising efforts of the Carpenter’s Shelter for more than 12 years. In addition, our staff volunteers hundreds of hours to the Shelter serving meals, conducting food drives, and serving on the Board. But Carpenter’s Shelter is not the only non-profit we’ve been privileged to serve—over the years, Yes& has worked with the Ocean Conservancy, the Marine Corps Marathon, Communities in Schools, the Humane Rescue Alliance, the Child and Family Network Centers, Change Rocks Foundation, Luke’s Wings, the Campagna Center, and more.
While we’re pleased to receive these awards, we are more pleased at being able to help these hard-working organizations make a difference in people’s lives. The Corporate Philanthropy Awards honor the Washington DC area’s most active and inspiring companies and nonprofits that have made a difference in their communities through financial donations and volunteer work.
